• Book hotels and flights on Cleartrip and pay by cash

    If you do not have a credit,debit card, netbanking or are not comfortable using online payment you can now book your flights and hotels on Cleartrip using cash. To avail the cash payment booking has to be made by calling up the customer care on 1860 233 9000. But before you call up the customer care make sure that you have searched and selected your flight and hotel on the Cleartrip website.

    Once you request for pay by cash option to the customer service, a cash collection executive will visit your address to collect the cash. You will get a receipt for the cash paid from this executive. You will then receive your tickets / confirmation of hotel booking by email. To avail this payment option you will need to book 7 days in advance for domestic flights, 10 days in advance for international flights, and 7 days in advance before the check-in date for hotel booking.  The good part about this offer is that Cleartrip is not charging any extra money if you decide to avail cash payment option.

    The option of cash collection by an executive is availabe only in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Delhi (NCR excluding Faridabad). For other cities you can deposit the cash in Cleartrip’s bank account. Information about cleartrip bank account can be obtained from the customer care.

    Things to consider before you choose to pay by cash for flights and hotels

    1. You need to decide what you are more uncomfortable with – paying money directly to Cleartrip online OR paying cash to an executive and then waiting for the ticket to come
    2. You will not be able to use any of the Cleartrip’s promotional offers, since these offers are generally available only for online booking
    3. You will loose out on any reward points that you earn by spending money on your credit / debit card
