• Travelling by air to Delhi is a better option in dense fog conditions

Delhi has seen dense fog over the last 2 days. The dense fog has led to flight schedule and train schedule going haywire. Over a dozen domestic flights were delayed on Saturday, Jan 8 and hundreds of trains were also running late. Moreover, a couple of trains had to be cancelled also due to the dense fog; Lucknow Shatabdi being one such train.

But what really surprised us that there was no cancellation of flights due to the dense fog, which is a good news for air travellers because it atleast ensures that you will reach your destination. Given that the airfares are back to their normal rates we think it might be a good idea to book a cheap flight rather than a train especially if you are travelling to Delhi in these foggy conditions.
