• Flight cancellation refund – get more money back now

Low cost airlines who were up till now not giving any money back to passengers on cancellations of ‘non refundable’ air tickets will now be giving back fees and surcharges (including Fuel surcharge). So on flight cancellations you will now be able to get Rs 1000 – 3500 back in fuel surcharge (depending on how much you have paid) and about Rs 150 back in fees.

Airlines which will be paying out as per the new refund rules are Indigo, Spicejet, GoAir, Air India, Indian Airlines and Kingfisher red.
