View CommentsIf you are a senior citizen booking a domestic air ticket or if you are booking a domestic ticket for your parents who are senior citizens you can get 50% discount on the base fare. Senior citizen here is defined as somebody who has crossed 65 years of age in case of Male and 63 years of age in case of females. This senior citizen discount is being offered by Kingfisher Airlines, Jet Airways and Air India. For all these three airlines travellers need to carry a valid proof of age which can be a voter id card, PAN card, passport, or a government issued photo identity card.

Using this card you will be able to get discount on Jet Airways without filling the form each time you travel.
Senior citizen concession on Air India
To get this discount you have to fill up the form (Download here), send it along with proof of age and proof of citizenship (PAN, passport, voter id card) to Air India.Additional conditions which have to be met are:
1. Discount can be availed only on Round Trips
2. Minimum stay of two nights at the destination is required.
3. No changes can be made to the routes
4. Ticket should be purchased minimum 7 days before the date of travel
