Travelguru is offering 20% Instant discount on hotel booking if booking is done using Visa Credit Card.

Cool, I have a Visa card . The happiness was short lived though. As soon as I landed on the search results page of Travelguru I saw the banner which said 20% discount for Visa Signature and Visa Infinite Card holders, 15% for Visa Platinum and Visa Gold card holders and 10% off for Visa Classic card holders. I will only get 15% discount since I have a Visa Gold card

But since I was going to Goa I wanted to book a hotel near one of the famous beaches, Baga, Anjuna. All the hotels listed on Travelguru had a line like “located few meters from the beach” in their description. I really wish travelguru had a filter which allowed me to sort hotels by proximity to the beach. Let me call my friend who lands in Goa every six months. Sometimes friends are better then travel sites.
